Genomic Test

I Want The Winner allows you to benefit from advancements in equine genetics. The DNA of all horses presented for sale is tested. 34 genetic marker known for their effects on the performance of the racing Trotter are examined.

Research on the genome of the competitive Trotter horse has indeed demonstrated the involvement of these genes in sought-after aptitudes, particulary :

• The potential to perform at a younger age.
• The ability to maintain a rhythmic and regular trot without fault.
• The aptitude for maintaining a balanced trot at high speed.

The results of the genetic tests carried out can be consulted in the description sheet for each horse presented. Subjects presenting test results below the population average are systematically eliminated.
